Bespoke Décor Studio was born on the Cape Flats, inspired by a lifelong love for home décor, arts, crafts — and yes, candles.
There was a time when I questioned my purpose. I had a job, but not a calling. Interests, but no passion. I prayed for fulfilment, for something that felt natural and effortless.

One evening, while scrolling TikTok, I came across a candle-making video. And for me, nothing is ever a coincidence. I fell into the deepest rabbit hole — researching waxes, wicks, resins, cements — and began testing each one by hand.

Just as I started to master candles and trays, insecurities crept in.
No one tells you that building a business is really building yourself: your confidence, your courage, your resilience. And so, I built it all — one piece, one late night, one prayer at a time.

After many lessons, many pennies, and a lot of self-work, I gathered my stock, whispered Bismillah (In the name of The Almighty, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful), and launched Bespoke Décor Studio.

My insecurities may have won the battle,

but I — Mas-ooda — won the war.
